Analysis Tools18 July 2002Download ttsetup.zip This version fixes all known bugs. It can also import multiple columns from a tab delimited text file (that's the import/export format we are using now instead of .csv files). Both SMIL and RealText files with subtitles can now be generated from within the program. You can also extract clips based on the codes in any one column (a useful tool if you want to look at only some segments or scenes over and over again, rather than the whole clip). The documentation has also been improved with more tips for first time users, as well as details of how to use the features mentioned above: 30 Mar, 2002Download Transtool-Setup.zip here. There is a basic quick guide in the zip file with instructions for installing and using TransTool, a program (for PCs) developed at the Cognitive Development Lab that makes the process of transcribing RealMedia files a little easier and generates SMIL transcripts.
